Course Description: This is the third in the sequence of mathematics courses designed to ensure that students are college and work ready.

Classroom Management Behavior Guidelines
- Take advantage of the entire learning period.
- Be seated and prepared to work at the bell. There will be a warm-up on the board for students to be working on once bell rings.
- Notebook, paper and pencil should be brought to class daily.
- Behave in such a way as not to interfere with other students learning.
- Raise hand before speaking.
- Remain seated unless instructed otherwise by the teacher.
- Be attentive during class – no heads down!!!
- Speak and act respectfully to all others in the room.
- Cell phones and other electronic devices are not allowed in the classroom!!!
Persistent or severe problems will be referred to the office immediately to allow maximum learning opportunities for other students.
We have read the Course Syllabus and Classroom Management Behavior Guidelines and understand that all county policies outlined in the Student Code of Conduct will be followed.

- Inferences and Conclusions from Data
- Trigonometric Functions
- Exponential and Logarithmic Functions
- Mathematical Modeling

- Summative Assessment 60%
- Formative Assessment 40%
*Student’s overall semester grade will be formulated as follows:
- 1st 9 weeks grade 40%
- 2nd 9 weeks grade 40%
- Final Exam 20 %

- Pencil
- Notebook (1 1/2”) – with dividers
- Paper
- Graph Paper
- Calculator – TI83+/84 Graphing Calculator
